Last month, Rick got promoted to assistant meat market manager in the Destin, FL Publix store and his girlfriend, Sam, moved to the Panama Beach Publix. They moved up the middle of last month and are getting settled in. They live 1/2 mile from the beach and what a pretty beach it is! They're still trying to sublet the apartment they lived in here in Gainesville, so that's a worry.
Beth, Kevin, and kids are moving to a new (rental) house, about 15 minutes north of their old one. It's bigger, has a nicer yard, a big screen porch, fenced yard, and in a better neighborhood. They're still trying to get Charley's school figured out, and because of the move, decided to have Beth home school Lizzie for her preK year.
Rich is scheduled for a hernia repair on Sept. 16 (a result of his surgery in January), he'll be out of work 2 weeks, then Oct. 6 I go in for my knee replacement and will be out till November 16. Whew! Before we know it, it will be Christmas and 2010. Hard to believe!
Beth and family were up the last of July and here are three photos from that trip (notice Rich in the background of two of them...).
