A lazy June day

Hurt my back on Wednesday - cleaning out a cabinet and was sitting too far forward on a chair. Boom! The chair slid out from beneath me and I slammed down flat on my back! Ouch. Was out of work one day and to my chiro every day since. If it hadn't been for my chiro, I'd have been out of work for several days, I suspect.

Rich has been working hard all day (mowed, fixed the camper door, went grocery shopping)and I've sat with ice packs and heating pads. (Well, I did laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, and fun stuff like that.) Got to get up and make our granola bars for next week's breakfast soon, and put the laundry away, but have been on the computer half of the day and want to finish with it!

Added photos to my facebook page, harvested grapes in Farm Town, browsed a lot of friends pages, and figured I'd better update this before I shut down for the day. Photos are about the same as the ones here with the grands in Paynes Prairie.

We'll be having BBQed chicken tonight using my Dad's recipe - butter, onion, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, mustard, and worcestershire sauce. Sounds strange and I haven't had it in years, but it's cooking now and boy, does it smell great. Can't wait to try it.

Took Dickens to the vet not too long ago and in spite of his diet he'd gained 8 pounds in the last year. He's now on half rations of dog food supplemented with 1 cup of canned green beans morning and night. I thought he'd turn his nose up at the green beans, but he pushes his dog food out of the way to get to them! Have to take him to the vet in a week or so to see if he's lost any. We've been adding veggies and more veggies to our own diet but to no avail. Got to get back walking if we can ever get healthy enough to get back to it again!
